I build the parts of software that have to stay up — high-throughput services, event-driven pipelines, and the observability that tells you the truth at 3am.
Over five years I've owned mission-critical backends across recommerce, IoT telemetry, fitness and CRM — most often in Go, TypeScript/Node and Python, inside microservice environments built on Kafka, RabbitMQ and Kubernetes. I've scaled systems through 10x growth, led migrations, and been the on-call engineer who runs the post-mortem.
Lately I've been shipping AI into real production workflows: LLM agents, RAG pipelines on Qdrant and pgvector, multi-LLM serving, and the Model Context Protocol. I like the seam where distributed systems meet applied AI — it's where the interesting reliability problems live.
Outside the day-to-day I care about mentoring, clean architecture, and the kind of boring reliability that keeps systems alive at 3am. If you're building something that has to be reliable at scale, we'll get along.

How I work
Simple > clever
The best system is the one the next engineer understands at a glance. I optimise for boring.
Own the outcome
From schema to the button someone clicks — I'd rather ship the whole slice than throw work over a wall.
Measure, then move
Instrument first. Guessing at performance is how good weekends get ruined.
